Terms and Conditions

Product specifications and prices are subject to change without notice. Prices quoted by the factory are in US Dollars (USD) and payment must be received in USD. Credit terms (Net 30 days from invoice date) are extended to Fortune 1000 companies, recognized governmental entities and research institutes, and of course, to our established customers in good standing. Payment terms for others are Cash in Advance (CIA) or Cash on Delivery (COD) until other credit terms can be established. Contact us for instructions prior to payment. We do not accept credit cards.

We ship via UPS or DHL, FOB Lewis Center, Ohio (Columbus area), United States of America. The shipping service level is at the discretion of the customer.

Export Orders

The exportation of scientific software, pulsed-power components, and pulse generators is strictly controlled by US law. In general, exports to Australia, Canada, Japan, Western Europe, and NATO countries may be shipped immediately under a license exception. Export to other countries may require a validated license from the US Bureau of Industry and Security (and possibly other US Government agencies). In certain situations, the end-user must also complete and return Statement by Ultimate Consignee and Purchaser. This procedure could require an additional processing time of 3-6 weeks. Before placing an export order, please inquire for further information since export procedures vary widely for different countries and consignees. In no case will our products be shipped to third parties or intermediaries.

Payment received by us must be exclusive of all bank and transit fees. Duties and taxes imposed by the country of import must be paid by the purchaser or consignee. Our equipment prices do not include these costs. We must have your UPS or DHL account number and your tax identification number (e.g., GST, RFC, VAT, IN, EIN, or as locally required) for international shipments, and you will be billed directly for all transportation costs, import taxes, and import duties, if applicable. Call your local customs office prior to purchase to obtain information on import duties and taxes; we have no access to this information and cannot provide an estimate of these additional costs. If you have an account with another international carrier that operates from the US, then we may be able to utilize them if they agree to bill you directly for freight charges and import duties/taxes.

Product Warranty

Our STANDARD pulsed power products and equipment are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty for a period of one (1) year after purchase. Custom, semi-custom, used and refurbished products are covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty for a period of ninety (90) days. Any defective product will be repaired or replaced at our option with no additional charge for material or labor. This warranty is void if the equipment has been modified or subjected to deliberate misuse. Optional extended warranty plans are available for custom and semi-custom products. Our warranty is granted ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, and is non-transferable and non-assignable. The full text of this warranty may be found in our Terms and Conditions.

The manufacturer's sole obligation under this warranty shall be repair or replacement of the unit. If our components are incorporated into a pulsed power system of the customer's own design, then we bear no responsibility for the proper engineering of this system or for its safe operation. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of these products.

Our products are intended for the research and development community, not for the consumer market, and may not comply with local, national, or international standards. Although our equipment is engineered in accordance with customary high-voltage practices, our products ARE NOT TESTED AND CERTIFIED by any Recognized Testing Laboratory (RTL) such as UL, SA, CE, etc. and ARE NOT WARRANTED to be in compliance with such standards.

Our products are not intended for life critical applications amd will not be sold for medical usage, including incorporation into a system by an OEM, under any circumstances.
